Your Data
We will always collect your data directly from you, unless it is a group registration, such as a club or school. It is the responsibility of the group to obtain your consent for us to register your details. We collect your details through the TeamsApp mobile app. You can opt-out or un-register at any time through your profile. Or contact our Privacy Officer using the contact details above.
BEACHR is powered by the SURPASSPORT platform to provide a shared solution for clubs, schools, coaches, athletes and their parents / guardians to interact in a secure environment around participation in sports.
A key focus of the application is player safeguarding, data privacy and player welfare. It allows coaches to make informed decisions as a result of communication with players / parents / guardians and young athletes around sports workload, scheduling and general wellbeing.
BEACHR requires the following personal data in order to create or maintain your user or participant profile:
name, email address, mobile phone number
These contact details may also be used to verify your identity.
Some BEACHR features additionally require access to the following personal data:
age, sex, date of birth, movement and activity, device location, photographs
BEACHR may, subject to your consent, use your location data to highlight your position on a map or to display location-aware records closest to you.
Who we share your data with
We do not actively share your data with third parties.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Your personal data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
